The massage work in a therapeutic massage may feel “deeper”. You may also experience more tenderness as we work through the tissue.

Maternity (Pre- and Post-natal) Massage Therapy

This massage technique is used to reduce stress and manage discomfort during pregnancy. It can help alleviate pain in the lower body, including the back, pelvic area, and abdomen. We take extra care in providing our pregnant clients with the utmost comfort during this treatment.

Infant Massage Therapy

Massage is comforting stimulation to a baby. Infant massage can help babies relax and sleep better and promotes good circulation and digestion. It also helps relieve gas and colic. The typical age for infant massage is 2 months up to 1 year.

Sports Massage Therapy

If you are active on a regular basis, you will benefit from regular Sports Massage Therapy sessions.  It focuses on preparing the muscle tissue, relieving fatigue, and eliminating toxins that build up in muscles after prolonged use. It also relieves muscle tension and joint pain and decreases recovery times after major workouts.

Deep Tissue Massage Therapy

Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds your muscles). It is used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle “knots”. Deep Tissue Massage helps with chronic muscle pain, injury rehabilitation, and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendinitis.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

MLD is a specialized medical message treatment. This gentle technique stimulates your lymph nodes, encouraging the movement of lymph fluid around the body. It helps detoxify your body by promoting waste removal. If you experience sleep issues, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, swelling in the legs (or anywhere else), you could benefit from MLD.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy releases or softens muscle knots by applying various levels of pressure and then stretching these painful, sensitive areas. It helps reduce (or eliminate) the knot and associated pain.

Post-operative Massage Therapy

This type of treatment is tailored to enhance flow of blood and lymphatic fluid to promote recovery and healing following a surgery. It can also help reduce discomfort and scarring. By accelerating the healing process, patients will return to their daily routines quicker, feeling better than before. Make sure to get clearance from your doctor before making post-operative massage part of your recovery treatment.
